Essentials for Fat Loss, Health and Fitness

Most young people, eat and drink whatever they desire. Diet and exercise isn’t something they are consciously concerned about. By playing team sports etc and having a naturally high metabolism (ah the wonders of youth), they may not put on very much weight and remain quite lean without much effort. But when not having a lifestyle incorporating a good diet (not a fad diet) and regular exercise, most people start to pile on the weight as they get older and become a bit more sedentary.

It can have a bit of a domino effect, as the weight creeps on – people tend to become less active, and make poor food choices such as snacking on junk food. It all seems too hard to lose those extra pounds and so the spiral into an unhealthy lifestyles begins. Many people turn to ‘fad diets’  and long drawn out cardio regimes to lose fat as a quick fix solution, these cannot be maintained. Even if the initial results  are pleasing, the fat returns quickly once they finish these ‘quick fix solutions’, as a healthy LIFESTYLE incorporating regular exercise and consistent healthy eating has not been established.

There is good news, it is never too late! You can turn this around..a starting point needs to happen and then consistency in lifestyle maintained. I have found in my life, I basically do something active everyday, eat well during the week and have an occassional splurge on a weekend. To achieve a truly lean body, optimal health and fitness, exercise and good eating habits go hand in hand to create by far, one of the best and fastest ways to lose weight. I recommend a mixture of both strength and interval training. This is by far the ultimate way to burn calories/kilojoules and lose fat quickly.
